Never Before Free - Only Until Tuesday

Okay, my publisher usually does freebie promotions from time to time on my older series, not my current ones! But here we go. Harrison Hyde and the Runaway Bride, Book 1 of The Texas Brand: Generations, is FREE thru Tuesday 9/15.
As I write this, the book is the #1 free ebook on all of Amazon, and also the #1 contemporary romance, the #1 small-town romance, and the #1 rom-com. Holy shit. I rarely hit this high with a free promo. I credit that gorgeous cover by Dar at Wicked Smart Designs.
Book 2, Honky Tonk Cowboy and Book 3, Deputy Brand Gets Her Man, are discounted from 4.99 each to just 1.99 each. THAT'S 60% OFF! That sale is good through Thursday 9/17.
Now, the freebie and cheapies are on the ebook editions, which are Amazon Kindle exclusives.
All four titles are also available in paperback everywhere books are sold.
Here are some useful links. More news below!
For those asking, yes, of course I'm going to finish the Texas Brands: Generations series. I might combine two stories into a big double romance, or I might not. Either way, there will be stories for Baxter, Drew, Orrin and Trevor--so either 7 or 8 total titles. At least one of these will be coming in 2027.
ARSENIC AND OLD LADIES: AUDIOBOOK NEWS
The audiobook is finished and under quality control review. It is scheduled to release on September 22nd, the same day as the hardcover, paperback, and ebook editions. I am so happy this worked out. OMG, you are going to LOVE this narrator. I'm hearing my characters in my head now as I write them, and that's amazing.
There will not be a pre-order for the audiobook, since there's only 10 days left before release, and that's too close for a pre-order.
Here's the latest video teaser. I have three or four now.
There are only ten days left until it comes out, and I am a nervous wreck. It feels like my very first time all over again. Like a virgin.

The pre-order campaign went so well that All My Friends Books (Main Street, Cortland NY) wants to do it again for the sequel! I couldn't be more pleased.
Right now I'm working on that sequel, Arsenic and Old Ladies II: A Festive Fatality, due with the editor at the end of this month (which is speeding by!)
And OMG! Arsenic and Old Ladies goes on sale a week from Tuesday in ebook, hardcover, paperback and audiobook editions! Whoop Whoop!
Daddy On Duty
This one, co-written by my daughter Jessica Benson and me, goes to the editor on September 15th. We should be seeing a cover shortly after that. This is the Wakeland Warriors trilogy that fits inside The McIntyre Men series.
News about release dates and cover art for both Arsenic II and Daddy on Duty will all be coming up in the next few newsletters! The good news is, both should release before the end of this year!
What a great holiday season this will be.

A personal note
I am as excited for the release of Arsenic and Old Ladies as I was for my very first novel. It feels like a leveling up. I've been putting a lot into my stories and career as a storyteller lately, like for the past year or two I've really been inspired and pouring it on.
A writing career is like pushing a boulder up a hill. Until you hit the top, and it starts to go down the other side. Once momentum takes hold, there's no stopping the boulder. No more pushing needed.
Of course, it only rolls until it hits another uphill slope, and then you have to go push it some more. I've had both uphill climbs and downhill rolls in my thirty-plus-year career, and I gotta tell you, it feels like I'm nearing another crest.
Check this out below. It's the ranking information for Harrison Hyde and the Runway Bride, and this held for most of today. I checked an hour ago and it was still holding. Look down near the bottom where it says Best Sellers Rank.

So yes, I feel momentum building, and I think this next book is going to nudge this boulder and get it rolling downhill for a bit. It feels like it's time.
